Our Therapists

Karen Harradine, OT/L

Lead Occupational Therapist

I grew up in Upstate New York and received my BS in Biology from Plattsburgh State University.  I learned about Occupational Therapy through volunteer work and  I realized this was the field where I could combine science with creativity and the ability to contribute to the lives of others.  I went back to college and received my BS in Occupational Therapy from Keuka College in 1997.

I moved to Wilmington that year and feel grateful to live in such a beautiful and opportune area. I have worked with OT Solutions since 2007 and am proud to be a part of such a talented, caring team of Therapists.  I have two teenage boys and we enjoy doing all kinds of outdoor activities that take advantage of this beautiful coastal region.

My favorite quote: “Enjoy the little things in life for one day you will look back and realize they were the big things”- Kurt Vonnegut

SUSAN COFFEY CYPHER M.S., CCC-SLP

LEAD SPEECH THERAPIST

Originally from Barrington, RI, I have been a resident of Wilmington and now Leland for nearly 20 years. I graduated from University of Rhode Island in 1996 with a Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.  I have always worked in Pediatrics and have a special interest in working with children on the Autism Spectrum.  I feel fortunate to work for a company that values all families and children and provides an atmosphere of teamwork in providing the most specialized care in the area.  I strive not to get children to relate “typically”, but to enter their world and create a bond that encourages communication across settings.

I am trained in DIR/Floortime, The Hanen Program, TEACCH model, Picture Exchange Communication, Apraxia treatment programs, auditory processing as well as sign language. I have been married to my husband Chris for 10 years and enjoy traveling, camping and spending time with our 4 grown children and 5 grand babies. I love outdoor adventures such as hiking, camping and kayaking!

Ashley Arnold, SLP-A.

Hi! I’m Ashley. I’m originally from upstate New York and have called coastal North Carolina home for the past 13 years. While I do miss the fall foliage, nothing beats the beach!
I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Speech and Hearing Sciences from the University at Buffalo in 2010 and have since worked in a variety of settings, including the ABA field and school-based environments. In 2025, I passed the North Carolina Board Exam and received my Speech-Language Pathology Assistant certification.
I’m passionate about working with children of all abilities and enjoy building meaningful connections that support their growth and communication across settings. I value collaborating closely with therapists, care team members, and families to provide a well-rounded approach tailored to each child’s unique needs.
In my free time, my husband and I enjoy kayaking, playing disc golf, and taking our sweet pup along as we explore local waterways. I also love spending time with friends and family.
I’m grateful to be part of a team dedicated to helping children grow, connect, and reach their full potential.
